2022 Typographic Calendar

2022 Typographic Calendar is an explorative typographic based project. The concept of the calendar takes from the quote “learn and grow, but don’t forget why you start.” 一 reflected on the stacked numbers design that grows bigger as it goes to the end of the year. Messy stacks of numbers on some months in the middle represents wrong decisions taken and tidier layout on December represents our final goal. This concept was inspired by everyone– who sometimes might went too far and forgot their initial goal. Small details such as embossing effects were added to Sundays and public holidays to enhance the look of the product. This calendar was binded with “glue-bind” method where it allows the user to take off each pages and paste it on the wall. The objective of this calendar is also to serve as a paper swatch to showcase and promote RJ Paper’s diverse and beautiful paper collection, and this project specifically use Maple Snow in 230gsm for its warm tone and smooth texture.
